OUR HISTORY

The foundations of our aviation business were laid in 1978, when Ron Loccisano established Northwest Airlines, providing regional towns across Eastern Australia with a daily airfreight and road courier service. Having purchased a fleet of aircraft including single and multi-engine piston, and twin turboprop aircraft, Ron understood firsthand the need to invest in new high quality and reliable aircraft.  He also established his own maintenance facility to service the growing fleet, which operated across Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. 

In 2004, father and son Ron and Michael Loccisano built on their deep market knowledge, and strong manufacturer relationships, to establish Airitalia (Aust) Pty. Ltd. offering aircraft sales, parts, technical support, and advice, servicing clients across Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific.
