Michael Loccisano — Director & CEO, Hallmarc Aviation

Michael Loccisano leads the company’s aviation business and customer relationships across aircraft sales, support and regional aviation solutions. A highly qualified, multi-engine, instrument-rated pilot, Michael brings decades of practical aviation and commercial experience to his role, with deep expertise in aircraft sales, customer support, fleet transition, parts coordination and operator-focused technical support.

His aviation career builds on a family legacy that began in 1978 with Ron Loccisano’s regional airfreight operations, and continued in 2004 when Ron and Michael established Airitalia (Aust) Pty Ltd to provide aircraft sales, parts, technical support and advice across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Today, Michael leads Hallmarc Aviation’s Tecnam sales and support activities, working directly with operators, flight schools and regional aviation stakeholders to deliver practical, long-term fleet solutions.

Known for his hands-on approach and customer-first focus, Michael is committed to building lasting relationships and supporting safe, efficient and sustainable aviation outcomes.

In 2022, he personally flew a new Tecnam P2012 Traveller from Capua, Italy to Melbourne, completing a journey of more than 8,000 nautical miles across ten countries.

Charles Gunter – Tecnam Sales

Charles has a distinguished career in Aviation and worked for Ron Loccisano in the late 1970s as a commercial pilot. He has held senior ranking positions as captain at several leading airlines including Lauda Air, and Cathay Pacific as check and training captain on Boeing 747 aircraft.

Charles is also the founder of Avia Aviation, a leading flight training organisation in Australia based at Moorabin Airport (YMMB).

Hans Van Pelt - Aviation Consultant & Government Relations

Hans is a former airline and airport CEO, as well as a government aviation director. He is a specialist in complex issue resolution within regional aviation, one of the most challenging and essential parts of the aviation landscape.

Hans can demonstrate how to make regional airlines financially sustainable, implementing the most effective fleet, network, cost control and back-end operational structures to deliver long-term viability around regional route retention and recovery. 

Irene Cheah - Administration & Parts Support

Irene has been supporting clients’ needs with parts supply since 2004 and has strong connections with Tecnam parts and technical departments. Irene always strives to provide our customers with an efficient and responsive experience.

Paul Montauban - Maintenance & Technical Support

Paul leads Hallmarc Aviation’s maintenance and technical support capability, helping operators with aircraft maintenance, importation, export Certificate of Airworthiness coordination, Australian CofA processes, and maintenance-organisation familiarisation. He brings deep practical experience with the Tecnam P2012 series, including factory engineering training at Tecnam and extensive aircraft-maintenance knowledge gained over a lifetime in the industry.

Before joining Hallmarc’s Tecnam team, Paul established Premiair Aviation Maintenance across WA, SA, VIC and QLD, supporting manufacturers including Pilatus, Socata and Cirrus; the business was later acquired by Textron Aviation as part of its Australian service-centre network. Today, Paul supports Hallmarc customers by helping build dependable local maintenance pathways, authorised service-centre capability, and practical technical support for Australian Tecnam operations.
